  1. You need 170 g of mixed dry fruit.
  2. Prepare 10 of x glace cherries (chopped).
  3. Prepare 300 ml of Tea (cold).
  4. Prepare 250 g of self raising flour.
  5. Prepare 1 tsp of baking powder.
  6. It’s 100 g of granulated sugar.
  7. You need 2 of x medium eggs.

Healthy tea loaf! instructions

  1. Preheat oven 180c (fan) prepare a 2lb loaf tin.
  2. Place all fruit in a bowl and pour cold tea over, leave all to soak for 1 hour.
  3. Add flour,baking powder, sugar and eggs to the soaked ingredients…..
  4. Beat (hand mixer) until smooth and mixed (dont over mix).
  5. Pour into prepared tin and bake on middle shelf for 35-40min until skewer comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, lasts for 5 days stored..
